Sound like you, not the guru
Lesson 6 of 6 · Brief it like a new acquisitions VA
1 · Learn the move · Examples + few-shot
Default AI writing about land arrives pre-loaded with a register this business is drowning in: urgency, opportunity, hassle-free, act fast. Owners have received forty of those letters. The register is not just tacky, it is a liability - manufactured urgency aimed at someone in distress is the fact pattern regulators look at. Voice matching fixes both problems at once, and the way to do it is to show rather than describe. Paste something you actually wrote and got a call from, and say match this. One real example outperforms three paragraphs describing the tone you want.
Match the voice of the example below exactly: same sentence length, same plainness, same lack of urgency. EXAMPLE THAT WORKED: [paste your own letter]. Now write the same kind of letter for this situation: [situation]. No urgency language, no opportunity language, nothing that pressures.
2 · Your turn. You write the prompt
Every draft you get back sounds like a mailer you would throw away, and you have one letter from last year that actually got a call. Write the prompt that uses your letter as the model instead of describing what you want.
Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.
Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
