Utilities, perc and the septic question

Lesson 4 of 6 · Diligence before the wire

1 · Learn the move · Tool choice + routing

'Utilities available' in a seller's note means very little. Power at the road is not power to a building site. A water line in the ditch may belong to a district that is not taking new connections. On most rural tracts the sewer is a septic system that depends on a soil evaluation nobody has done yet, and 'it perc'd years ago' is a memory, not a report. No model can answer any of this, and neither can you from a desk. What the model can do is route: split the utility question into its parts, name who actually answers each one, list what each of them will want from you, write the exact question to ask, and keep the register of what comes back. That is the technique here. The model decides who to ask. It never decides what the answer is, and it never writes a capacity, a distance or a cost nobody quoted.

Split the utility and septic question for this tract into parts. For each part, name who answers it, what they need from me, the exact question to ask, and what I hold now. Status is ANSWERED only with a quoted document. Never state a capacity, distance, cost or soil result. Then tell me what my resale ad can truthfully say about utilities today.

2 · Your turn. You write the prompt

You are buying a 9.8-acre tract in Farrier County to resell as a cabin site. The seller wrote 'power at the road, county water available, perc'd fine years ago.' You have that note, the deed, and a GIS printout. Write the prompt that turns one vague sentence into a list of calls, and keeps your ad honest in the meantime.

Write the prompt for this scenario as given, or swap in a real one from your own work. The score works the same either way.

Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.

Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
