Interim income (ag lease, timber, parking) from what the ordinance allows
Lesson 2 of 6 · Hold it
1 · Learn the move · Flipped interaction
Land that earns something while you hold it is cheaper to hold, and every holder eventually gets the offers: a farmer who wants the hay, a timber buyer who wants the pine, a trucking outfit that wants to park trailers on the flat corner. Each one is a use, and each use has to be allowed by the ordinance, fit any current-use enrollment, and not get in the way of what you plan for the land later. The model's instinct is to brainstorm income ideas, which is the wrong direction. Flip it. Make the model interview you first, one question at a time, about the district, the enrollment, each offer and the documents you can paste, and only then set each offer against what the records allow. Asking first surfaces the conflicts before you sign: a parking use the table does not list, a harvest that may end an enrollment, a lease term that runs past the day you meant to start work. It never estimates what any lease or harvest would pay.
Before suggesting anything, interview me. Ask one question at a time about the parcel's district, any current-use enrollment, each income offer, my later plans and which documents I can paste. Wait for each answer. Then set each offer against the records only. Never estimate what an offer would pay, and never say an offer is allowed.
2 · Your turn. You write the prompt
You hold 23 acres in Quarrow County with frontage on a county road. Three offers came in this month: a hay lease from the neighbour, a timber buyer's letter on the back pine stand, and a trucking outfit asking to park trailers on the front two acres. The parcel is enrolled in current use, and you plan to split the frontage in about two years. Write the prompt that makes the model ask what it needs before it weighs any of them.
Write the prompt for this scenario as given, or swap in a real one from your own work. The score works the same either way.
Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.
Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
