Turn a submarket into a canvassing day that compounds

Lesson 3 of 6 · Assemble the block

1 · Learn the move · Recipe pattern

Most infill blocks are assembled on foot. You walk the streets around the lot you hold and notice who mows the vacant corner, whose trailer is parked in the gravel yard, which house sits on two lots. Then you forget half of it by dinner. The recipe pattern turns the day into a procedure you can run again: cluster the stops from the addresses on your list, give each stop a card with what the list says and the one question worth asking, and file what you learn back into the list so the next walk starts where this one ended. Two limits hold. The recipe never fills an unknown to make a card look finished. And knocking on a door is outreach, so the town's solicitation rules and a posted sign both bind you before anything you planned.

Turn my target list into a canvassing day. Step 0: the solicitation check, at the top. Step 1: cluster by address only, no walking or driving times. Step 2: one card per stop with WHAT THE LIST SAYS (tagged to row and column), UNKNOWN, WHAT I WANT TO LEARN, THE ONE QUESTION. Step 3: a capture form, only what was said or seen. Step 4: how tonight's notes go back into the list.

2 · Your turn. You write the prompt

Saturday you are walking the blocks around your lot in the Millrace district of Aspley Mills. Your list has five parcels you would want if they ever came loose: two vacant lots, two old houses on double lots and a gravel yard. Last time you came home with a pocket of scraps and remembered none of the names. Write the prompt that makes this walk the first of several that build on each other.

Write the prompt for this scenario as given, or swap in a real one from your own work. The score works the same either way.

Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.

Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
