Wrap the day into the parcel file

Lesson 4 of 5 · The buying week

1 · Learn the move · Recipe pattern

A parcel's real record is spread across a call log, a clerk's voicemail, a text from the title company, a photo of a gate, and your memory, which is gone by Monday. A ten-minute wrap-up fixes that if it always has the same shape. DONE: what happened, with the parcel number on every line. DECIDED: what the owner, the heirs or you decided, one line each, with who said it. CHANGED: any price, acreage, date or term that moved, written as old value, new value, reason, never buried in prose. OPEN: what is unfinished, each with an owner and a date. The model sorts your scraps into that shape and stops. It does not tidy a figure it cannot see, it never computes a date, and it does not turn 'the daughter sounded interested' into an agreement. Anything missing becomes [NEEDS: ...] so you see the hole before the file closes.

Turn my notes from today into parcel-file entries, one per parcel: [paste call notes, texts, clerk messages]. Sections for each: DONE / DECIDED (what, who, when) / CHANGED (old value, new value, reason) / OPEN (item, owner, date). Use only what is in my notes. Any missing figure, name or date = [NEEDS: ...]. Never compute a deadline; quote what the clerk said and mark it for the attorney. Do not interpret anyone's tone; 'sounded interested' stays as I wrote it.

2 · Your turn. You write the prompt

It is 7:30 pm. Today the owner of the Pruett County tract countered your offer with seller carry over three years, the title company texted that the deed shows 38.6 acres not 40, the clerk left a voicemail reading the redemption statute aloud, and one of four heirs on the Cane Ridge parcel 'sounded interested' but said her brother 'won't sign anything'. Your notes are four texts, two voicemails and a photo of a locked gate.

Write the prompt for this scenario as given, or swap in a real one from your own work. The score works the same either way.

Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.

Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
