The three questions that decide if you can carry paper at all

Lesson 4 of 6 · Terms without trouble

1 · Learn the move · Flipped interaction

Most sellers ask the model how to structure a note. The earlier question is whether they should carry one at all, and the model cannot answer it, because the facts that decide it live in your bank account, your buyer and your plans. So flip the interaction: have it ask you, one question at a time, and hold its conclusions. Three questions carry the weight. Can your business survive this note going silent, including the cost of enforcing it? Who is the buyer and what will they do with the land, because an individual who may live on it can bring consumer-lending rules into play? And how many of these will you carry, and will you ever sell the notes or bring in partners to fund them? Volume can change the licensing picture, and pooling other people's money is a securities matter. The output is a brief for counsel built from your answers, never a verdict that you are clear to carry.

Before we talk about terms, interview me. Ask one question at a time, wait for my answer, and do not advise between questions. Cover: whether I can absorb this note going silent, who the buyer is and what they will do with the land, and how many notes I plan to carry and whether I would sell them or bring in funding partners. Then write a brief for my attorney from my answers only. Do not tell me I am under any threshold or clear to proceed.

2 · Your turn. You write the prompt

You have sold four tracts for cash and a buyer on a fifth wants terms. A friend who carries paper says 'it is free money.' Before you draft anything you want to know whether you should be doing this at all, and you want your attorney to get a clean summary rather than a rambling call. Write the prompt that makes the model interview you first.

Write the prompt for this scenario as given, or swap in a real one from your own work. The score works the same either way.

Remember: the AI sees only your prompt, not this page. If the situation isn't in your prompt, it doesn't exist.

Optional. These shape the output when you run your prompt below, not your score.
